Gear Drop: Sheep Season 2022
It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Early season is upon us and our CANIS Team is about to get deep for sheep. Last year provided our guys some incredible expeditions to the Himalayan Mountains of Nepal for an unforgettable blue sheep hunt and then on to Kyrgyzstan for a horseback hunt for Hume Argali and Mid-Asian Ibex.
This year is going to be no different as CANIS founder Ryan Efurd is attempting to complete his North American Sheep Grand Slam later this month with a stone sheep hunt in British Columbia and then over to Alberta in September to chase a bighorn. He connected on a dall sheep in the Brooks Range of Alaska in 2020 and a desert sheep in Sonora, Mexico in 2021.
In January of 2023, we will be celebrating our third year of selling CANIS to our customers. It’s been awesome to see our gear getting put to the test by thousands of hardcore hunters in all 50 states and 14 countries around the world. We built our gear to withstand the most challenging terrain and weather conditions, and we are proud to be a part of your adventures!
